Chrysler Crossfire Overview
The Chrysler Crossfire replaced the Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler in 2003. The Crossfire is a rear wheel drive sports car sold by Chrysler and was designed by Eric Stoddard. The Crossfire is built by Karmann in Germany and shares 39% of its components with Mercedes model vehicles. The chassis of the Crossfire is a combination of a modified C-class engine compartment, S-class rear linkages, a pre-2003 CLK floor plan and new stampings for the rear and side rails.
