In 2001, Lamborghini introduced the Murcielago as its flagship high-end sports car. While recognizable by its two gull-wing doors, the Lamborghini Murcielago has established several Lamborghini traditions, mainly an independent double wishbone suspension with a mid-mounted engine on four-wheel drive, as well as an optimal 42 per-cent front and 58 per-cent back weight distribution in a sports car, which handles optimal traction, braking, and handling to the driver.
