Updates for the 2010 Toyota Tundra include a redesigned front grille and taillight design. The Tundra and SR5 trims will utilize similar front grille designs, while the Limited trim will have a unique billet-style grille. Driver and front-passenger knee airbags now come standard, along with height-adjustable headlights, and a redesigned seven-pin towing hitch connector. A storage shelf has been added to the lower glovebox.
There will be two new optional audio systems available for the 2010 Toyota Tundra. A new Tech Audio system will feature AM/FM/CD, integrated satellite radio, Bluetooth, auxiliary and USB inputs, and six speakers. The second new audio system is a non-JBL navigation system with AM/FM/CD, an auxiliary input, and a backup camera monitor and six speakers. There is currently a JBL navigation system with the same specifications.
The 2010 Toyota Tundra Work Truck was designed for the commercial truck buyer who wants a durable full-size truck for the main purpose of working. The Tundra Work Truck will come in either a 4x2 or 4x4 Regular package or as a Double Cab model in standard and long-bed configurations. Powertrain choices include either a V-6 or one of two V-8 engines. Utilizing Toyota's 381-hp 5.7L V-8 engine will give the 2010 Tundra a towing capability of up to 10,800 lb.
