If you have been toying with the idea of purchasing an SUV in the luxury crossover category, then this could be just the midsized vehicle you have been searching for. This feisty utility vehicle is a sporty performer, and does not compromise all the comforts normally reserved for a luxury automobile. The MDX cabin and cargo area are very spacious, and seating is very well organized and comfortable. 300 horsepower is easily derived from a lively 3.7-liter V6 engine, and a powertrain featuring a six-speed automatic transmission. The transmission also features a manual shift control, that uses paddle shifters. Standard on the MDX is antilock disc brakes, front and side airbags. Driving the MDX is a pleasure on even the roughest winding roads. Acceleration is obvious and respectable, with 0-60-mph in less than 8 seconds. The MDX is no stranger to fuel economy, with a cost saving 16mpg city and 21 mpg highway.
