The 2011 Acura MDX
is one of the smaller, more fuel efficient sport utility vehicles (SUVs) on the market. With handling and performance more like a car than an SUV, Acura MDX is easy to drive. Since it had a major redesign in 2010, the MDX received no major changes 2011. With its V-6 engine coupled with a six-speed automatic, the MDX is surprisingly fast and fun to drive, but not as capable at towing and off-road driving as other SUVs.
However, the Acura MDX does offer a wide array of trims, options, and packages. Whether you want the latest technology or the greatest entertainment equipment, you are sure to find it in the MDX. You'll also like the top-of-the-line safety equipment and EPA fuel efficiency rated at 16 mpg city/21 mpg highway. Families love the 2011 Acura MDX, with its three rows of seats, capable of seating up to seven passengers, and plenty of room for cargo as well.
New for 2011
Because the MDX received a comprehensive redesign in 2010, which included the addition of the brand's front grille and a substantial power-train revision, the Acura MDX received no major changes in 2011.

On the Outside
The stocky Acura MDX looks even stockier and edgier, now that it's bearing Acura's controversial front grille. Also revised in 2010 and carried into 2011 were the designed hood, front/rear facias, side sills, and taillights.
From the Inside
With premium leather throughout, the MDX also features sharp-looking gauges and a sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. Optionally, the MDX can be upgraded to include real-time weather and traffic information, an 8-inch navigation screen, and a rear-view camera system.
The 2011 Acura MDX's paddle shifting six-speed transmission make it fun to drive, especially when paired with the 300-horsepower 3.7 L V-6 engine. The MDX is surprisingly fast and easy to drive since it received power steering and chassis reinforcements in 2010 to increase handling around corners. The re-tuned optional magneto rheological shocks also contribute to the MDX's comfortable ride.
The 2011 Acura MDX features safety systems galore, including dual stage driver and front passenger airbags and side curtain airbags for all three rows. With the optional Advance Package, you get blind spot detection and an automatic collision-mitigating braking system.
