The 1997 Acura NSX is one of the highest performance vehicles available on the market. Fast acceleration, a high top speed, and excellent handling allow it to drive circles around almost anything on the road. It also boasts a fairly well-appointed interior, which is not always found on this style.
The downside of the 1997 Acura NSX is that it's impractical because of cost. Even a used model easily costs more than almost anything on the market brand new and fully loaded. The rarity is partially because it's a lesser-known model but also the extremely high cost puts it out of reach of almost all drivers out there. It's a vehicle that is made for a very small niche of the market.

What's New
The 1997 Acura NSX introduces a more powerful 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine.
Exterior
The 1997 Acura NSX is a sleek, graceful vehicle that is available as either a coupe or convertible. It has the slightly futuristic appearance common with high-end sports cars, which may or may not appeal to potential buyers. Alloy wheels and a rear spoiler are standard features.
Interior
The 1997 Acura NSX is built primarily for performance, but the interior is still fairly well appointed. Standard features include power windows, power locks, power heated mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, power seats, leather seating, air-conditioning, automatic climate control, an anti-theft alarm system, an AM/FM radio, a cassette player, and Bose audio. It has more standard features than many of its competitors but lacks the optional features list that it has to boost the standard features.
Performance & Handling
The 1997 Acura NSX has excellent performance and handling in every area. The 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine gives it fast acceleration and an impressive top speed. Although steering is smooth and easy, it has some of the same minor steering issues that any powerful vehicle would start to develop. This can make it a little difficult to handle in unskilled hands. Braking is also excellent, rounding out the performance nicely.
Safety
The 1997 Acura TL is equipped with standard features, such as dual-front airbags, traction control, and four-wheel anti-lock brakes. Similar to most high performance vehicles, the biggest safety feature is performance. Its high acceleration and maneuverability should allow a skilled driver to avoid accidents that would be unavoidable for many other vehicles. However, the downside of high performance is that unskilled drivers can easily lose control. In large part, the safety is based on how well the driver can actually handle the vehicle.
