The Acura TL has been completely redesigned for 2009. The new, mid-size TL is 6 inches longer and nearly 2 inches wider than the outgoing model.
Available engines on Acura's best selling model are a 280 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and a 305 horsepower 3.7-liter V6. Power is routed through a 5-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels with the smaller engine, while the 3.7-liter gets Acura's Super Handling All Wheel Drive.
Fuel economy for the TL is as follows...
A notable option for the TL is the Technology package. It features Navigation with backup camera, and real-time traffic and weather updates. Other upgrades include heated front seats, keyless entry with remote start, and 10-speaker 440-watt sound system.
Base MSRP for the 2009 Acura TL is $34,955. A fully loaded model will come in at just under $44,000. The TL is backed by a 7-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
With updated looks, a host of tech savvy features, and new powerplant options, the '09 TL continues its campaign as Acura's most popular offering.
