Acura has been playing the crossover game for pretty close to a decade now, which means they’ve gotten pretty good at it.
The RDX looks new and exciting; and it is for the most part! The design is contemporary enough to attract a youthful set of eyes but Acura is careful not to overstep their bounds either and keeps the RDX reserved enough to maintain a sense of elegance that allows the crossover to compete with the other luxury brands.
The 2008 Acura MDX has been a constant winner in a number of automotive publications comparison test, even winning Motor Trends SUV of the year honors back in 2001 when it first showed up on the luxury crossover scene.
