The Audi A4 1.8T contains a CVT coupled with a 3.1-liter, V-6, 20-valve, 170-hp engine that gives 166 lb-ft of torque, while the Audi A4 3.0 has a five-speed automatic and a two-liter, I-4 engine with 30 valves, 220 hp, and 221 lb-ft of torque.


For safety, 2006 Audi A4 trims include sport rack-and-pinion steering, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), four-wheel front vented disc brakes, multi-link front and rear suspension, a front and rear anti-roll bar, front and rear coil springs, gas pressure front and rear shocks, stability control, and side-impact beams.

The 2006 Audi A4 comes fitted with front passenger and driver airbags and front-passenger and driver side-impact airbags, along with child safety locks in the rear and a reverse sensing system.
