Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Adequate Power
  • Handles Well
  • Chick-magnet
  • Attractive Design

  • Cramped rear seats
  • Small fuel tank
  • Pricy to fix

I loved my 2008 Audi A5 and currently own a 2012 A5. The 2008 is a fierce car with a luxury interior. The sound system is superb; on a sunny day there is nothing more enjoyable than rolling down the windows, cruising around and blasting some of your favorite music. The A5 gets solid gas mileage, about 18 city/27 highway miles per gallon. It has all wheel drive and exceptional acceleration. Do not underestimate the acceleration in this car because you will find yourself slamming on your breaks if you are on a busy road. For a coupe it handles well in various terrains and climates. It is a sharp looking vehicle that women love. I think the designers recognized this because unfortunately the rear seats have basically no leg room. If you and 3 friends plan on driving anywhere make sure the guys in the back are under 5' 5'' because it is cramped. Also keep in mind that if you damage the car the repairs are quite expensive.
