The
2011 Audi A6 is offered as a sedan or wagon, with a choice of 3.2L V-6, 3.0L supercharged V-6, 4.2L V-8, and 5.2L V-10 engines paired to a six-speed automatic transmission or a continuously variable transmission. Forward-drive and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive are also offered. Although it has great handling, Audi A6's ride is not as comfortable as you might wish.
The Audi A6 has a luxurious attractive interior and exterior, complemented by Audi's great safety features. Fuel economy is 18 mpg city / 28 mpg highway, which is within the standard range. The standard base A6 achieves superior traction on the road, but the suspension rides hard, making the vehicle is noisy.
New for 2011
Since a new model is expect soon, the 2011 Audi A6 made do with only minor updates. Now standard on all trims is the sportier S Line body and a 3G MMI infotainment system with navigation. The Premium Plus and Prestige trims now have rear parking sensors, and the Prestige also gets a back up camera.

On the Outside
On the 2011 Audi A6, the sporty S Line exterior package is standard across the board and includes upgraded door sills and front and rear bumpers. Nothing else has unchanged its 2009 model year update, and the status quo will likely remain until a new model arrives.
From the Inside
Standard across the line now are leather and power front seats, as is Walnut wood trim and a navigation system. Front seat heaters and a multifunction, leather-wrapped steering wheel are optional on base trims and standard on more expensive trims.
Driving Performance
While the 2011 Audi A6's base 3.2-liter V-6 with its 265 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque is capable, the new 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 with its 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque is worth the extra cash and comes with standard AWD. Performance buffs can choose from a 4.2-liter V-8 (350 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque) and AWD or the sizzling S6 model with its 435 horsepower V-10 routed through a stick quattro AWD.
