Passengers in the Audi A8 are well-equipped to deal with either long or short trips in overwhelming comfort.

Performance & Handling

The 3.7-liter twin-cam aluminum-alloy V-8 engine provides 230 horsepower and is available in front drive. The 4.2-liter, which is also twin-cam and aluminum alloy engine, is available in all-wheel drive and offers 300 horsepower. Both versions have traction control and independent rear suspension to make driving at all speeds a dream even on rough highway conditions.

Four-link front suspension provides precise steering while eliminating torque steer. Air bags for all passengers, including both front and side air bags for passengers, mounted to the seat rather than the door panel, provide peace of mind to the most accident-wary consumers.
