The 2009 Audi TT 2-door sport compact is available as a hardtop coupe or a top-down roadster. The TT has become an icon for Audi for over a decade now, dating back to the original 1995 concept.
The TT is one year removed from a 2008 redesign that, in addition to aesthetic updates, included a new aluminum space frame making the new TT nearly 200 pounds lighter, while increasing cabin roominess.
The base engine is a 200 horsepower turbocharged 2-liter inline-4. A 250 horsepower 3.2 liter V6 is available. Transmission choices are a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual, sending power to the front wheels or available Quattro all wheel drive.
Fuel consumption for the TT ranges from 17 miles per gallon city to 31 miles per gallon highway.
Base MSRP for the 2009 Audi TT is $35,200, while a fully loaded TT can cost as much as $55,000. The TT comes with a 4-year, 50,000-mile power train warranty.
The 2009 Audi TT is light, quick and roomy while still retaining the unmistakable TT styling.
