DETROIT, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- SDE Business Partnering (SDE), a minority-owned provider of labor, program management, consulting and vendor management services, has been awarded a multi-year contract to manage the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procurement and services operations for Chrysler Group's U.S. and Canadian facilities. The relationship represents one of the most comprehensive partnerships in MRO management ever undertaken by an automotive company, and makes SDE the largest independent MRO supplier in the United States.
SDE has formed a new subsidiary, SDE MRO Express (SME), to service the Chrysler Group account. SME will manage the procurement of all MRO items and services.
