Independent Glass Association Introduces Ten New Member Services - Auto News from May 24, 2007

STAFFORD, Va., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Independent Glass Association (IGA) introduced ten new services for independent auto glass shops at its annual Independents' Days Conference and Spring Auto Glass Show(TM).

"These services provide crucial help for independent glass shops throughout the country," said IGA's president Dave Zoldowski. "We are pleased to be able to bring them to our members."

    The new services are:

     1. Free AGRSS Registration. At certain times of the year, IGA will pay
        members' registration fees to AGRSS;
     2. IGA Certification. The association debuted its training and
        certification program. Information is available at
        http://www.igacertification.org;
     3. Legislative Alert and Action System. Keeps members updated daily about
        proposed legislative changes that affect their businesses;
     4. Anti Steering Campaign. A public awareness program to alert customers
        to illegal and/or unethical steering;
     5. Instant Analysis Program. Provides members with an analysis of changes
        in contracts with insurers, third-party administrators and competitor-
        administrators;
     6. Guide to Contracts. A series of booklets that explain what various
        contracts (such as State Farm's O&A, Safelite's network contract)
        really mean;
     7. Ethics Accountability Program. Holds insurers and competitor-
        administrators to ethical standards in their communications with
        insureds;
     8. IGA Fall Meeting. A new fall conference, with concentrated emphasis on
        one subject, to be held in November in conjunction with NACE;
     9. Jobs4You Program. An Internet marketing program for independents;
    10. Regional Training Programs. Bringing IGA training to various regions
        of the country.
