Keynote speaker Amy Marentic, Large Car & Crossover Planning Manager, Product Marketing, Planning and Strategy, Ford Motor Company, will share how Ford is developing vehicles and technology with women in mind.

A native of West Michigan, Marentic will discuss her career and how women are making a difference in the auto industry. She will preview several new automotive products and show specific examples of how the women who are developing these products have influenced their evolution, such as the Ford Flex.

The Flex will be launched this summer with many features developed with women in mind, such as a refrigerator, multi panel vista roof where each occupant gets their own special skylight, adjustable pedals, a power liftgate, a capless fuel filler, a rear backup camera and SYNC and Next Gen Navigation.

In addition, Marentic will touch on Ford Motor Company's efforts to deliver a more connected in-car experience and her personal quest to help save American manufacturing.

Marentic also will discuss the Ford employee group Warriors in Pink and Mustang Sally, run by women for women, and its 13-year history of raising funds for the Susan G. Komen For the Cure.
