Currently, the 2009 BMW 7 Series and 6 Series, along with the 2010 BMW 1 Series, 3 Series and Z4Roadster, include the digital broadcast infotainment systems as a standard feature, rounding out the number of standardized BMW models to seven. WHY: HD Radio Technology is available to 85 percent of Americans with more than 2,000 HD Radio stations on the air, and 1,000+ new FM multicast channels (HD2/HD3). Developed by iBiquity Digital and powered by your favorite local radio stations throughout the U.S., the digital platform offers fresh, creative programming on HD2 and HD3 dials, combined with crystal-clear quality sound. And BMW customers can enjoy the content options and clarity 100% subscription-free!
