Concord, NC (Sports Network) - Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing will run three full- time cars during the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, team officials confirmed.

Juan Pablo Montoya will drive the team's No.42 car with new sponsorship from Target. The No.42 had sponsorship from Wrigley's for part of this season, but the confectioner will now serve as an associate sponsor for the team.

Target has previously sponsored Ganassi's No.41 car.

Martin Truex, Jr. will be behind the wheel of the No.1 car with Bass Pro Shops backing the team's efforts this year.

Aric Almirola will be in the No.8 car; however, sponsorship for that team has not been finalized.

EGR plans to enter a fourth car for next month's Daytona 500 with a driver and sponsor yet to be named. The team will run additional races with its fourth car this season if sponsorship can be found.

All four cars are guaranteed a starting position in the Daytona 500 since they finished in the 2008 Sprint Cup owner points.
