2014 Scion FR-S Research Click to hide
The Supra name has long been revered by Toyota enthusiasts, and it finally makes a return after a 16-year absence. The automaker has been hush-hush about the concept, but if it's going to pick up where the Lexus LFA left off, we have a few guesses as to what it'll be like.
Its main competition will come in the form of the 2015 Acura NSX and 2016 Nissan GT-R. Pricing will be similar to the competition, coming in around $100,000 or more. We expect it to be powered by a hybrid powertrain that produces over 500 horsepower, but at this point, it's just speculation. What Toyota will be showing off is a pure concept, but we think that only minor changes will be made before it enters production.
The above rendering was distributed by Toyota with the release of Sony's Gran Turismo 6 video game.
