What's New

The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and Turbo S Cabriolet mark the convertible variants of the luxury automaker's flagship sports car. For the new model year, Porsche has increased the horsepower of both models by 30 horsepower, thanks to the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-6 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. All-wheel drive comes standard, and both vehicles have a top speed just shy of 200 mph and go from 0 to 60 in 3.3 and 3.1 seconds, respectively. The two sports cars also offer an impressive EPA estimate of 17/24 mpg city/highway. As these are both convertible models, it’s important to note that both tops open and close in about 13 seconds.

Who It's For

With a price starting at $161,650 and $194,850, respectively, these models are aimed at a very specific customer. Those who can afford the hefty prices, which don’t included added features and packages, won't care that having that convertible top costs an extra $12,000 from the coupe variants. If you want to drive fast and look great doing it, the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet are the cars for you. Until the next models come out, anyway.
