What's New

The 2015 Jaguar F-Type has been receiving much recognition since its launch earlier this year, and the new coupe variant is keen to build on that success. Built upon an all-aluminum platform, the 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe goes from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds flat when equipped with the 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine. When equipped with one of the 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engines, the new coupe has a 0 to 60 time of 4.8 seconds with the 380 horsepower engine, and 5.1 seconds with the 340 horsepower engine. Equipped with the second-generation electronic active differential and all-new torque vectoring system, the new coupe delivers enhanced handling and agility. The F-Type Coupe's all-aluminum platform has been fundamental in providing an aesthetic design and great driving dynamics.

Who It's For

For those who don't want to fork over the extra $4,000-plus for the convertible F-Type, the 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe provides a less expensive option, equipped with the same performance and style that has given the F-type such great success. With available panoramic glass roof or aluminum roof panels, the customer can further personalize their F-Type Coupe. Although this isn't a very 'green' sports car, Jaguar has found a way to produce this model to emit up to 80 percent less CO2 emissions, and up to half of the body comes from recycled metals. That surely compensates for the average fuel economy ratings. If you want a fast car that handles great, looks stunning, and offers great performance but don't want to mess up your hair, the 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe should be at the top of your list.

Key Features

There's so much to like about the new 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe that it's hard to sum it up into just a few key points. For starters, it doesn't cost as much. And it features the same driving dynamics seen on its convertible variant.
  • More horsepower on the V-8 model than the convertible
  • Available panoramic glass or aluminum roof panel
  • Trunk large enough to fit two sets of golf clubs with room to spare

What We Think

We loved the F-Type when we had it for a week (review coming soon), and were sad to see it go, and we expect the new 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe to offer the same level of performance and handling, with just a little more horsepower on the top-line model than its convertible variant. People will be itching to get behind the wheel of this new model when it is officially launched for the 2015 model year, but until then, they'll have to wait patiently for their turn. Just like us.
