There's retro and then there's retro: the Lancia Fulvia Coupe was surrounded on its stand by gorgeous girls wearing 1960s clothing-and it fitted in perfectly. The little coupe takes its cues from the classic front-drive Fulvia, yet looked thoroughly up to date and totally desirable. Based on the current Fiat Barchetta chassis, it uses a 140-hp, 1.8-liter, 16-valve four cylinder engine driving the front wheels. With extensive use of aluminum parts, the weight is kept down to just over 2100 pounds, giving 0 to 62 mph acceleration in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 132 mph. If you are going to trawl your heritage, do it right: and Lancia did this one absolutely right.
