Los Angeles and Detroit auto shows are tough acts to follow, but the Chicago auto show has proven to be an exciting event with almost 1000 vehicles spread over 1.2 million square feet (40 percent larger than last year). There were certainly a few familiar machines from recent events, but a number of world debuts are worth a close look, including the Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Dodge Nitro, Honda Civic Si, Hyundai Portico, International RXT, Kia Sedona, Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, Mercury Mountaineer, Mercury Milan, and Toyota FJ Cruiser.

In addition to traditional show cars, Chicago marked the "introduction" of the first Chinese car line to the North American market when legendary car-importer Malcolm Bricklin revealed details on the Chery brand soon to be introduced in the U.S.

Our coverage wraps up with more than 55 vehicles included here. As you're reading, watch for links to detailed photo galleries and videos. Remember to click on any image to see its enlargement.
