The 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show is the first major international auto extravaganza of the 2007-08 season and the bi-annual foray onto the home turf of Germany's automakers. Now in its 62nd year, the monsterous halls of Frankfurt's Messe will feature massive displays from BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen and the soon to be Daimler. Among the top German offerings are the first official reveals of the production BMW M3 and 1 Series, Volkswagen's Tiguan and Porsche's 911 GT2. Several other significant vehicles including Jaguar's XF, the Mini Clubman and Ford's Verve concept will also take to the stage for the first time. Frankfurt's much greener than in 2005 as well, with several automakers showcasing eco-friendly technologies.
