Honda wanted to demonstrate that hybrid efficiency and hot looks can exist in the same car, so it brought its Civic Hybrid Sports Concept to the 2006 Paris Auto Show.

This is a visual exercise if nothing else, but it does look great. The concept has deep front and rear spoilers, side skirts, and chromed seven-spoke alloy wheels and exhaust pipes. Inside, it has comfy-looking sport seats. The carbon-fiber rear spoiler and front grille are visual highlights.

Sure, it looks great, but nothing quite says "poser" like someone getting 50 mpg in a slow tarted-up Civic.
