Based on the new Mazda CX-7 SUV, this Adrenaline concept is a fully running prototype that was designed and built by Mazda Design North America. Its mission is to blur the lines between SUV and sports car, and it definitely looks the part. The rear glass treatment seems to blur the lines between CX-7 and Volvo C30, but that's another story entirely.

The Adrenaline concept uses the CX-7's turbocharged four-cylinder mated with a six-speed manual from the Mazdaspeed6. Thanks to a free-flowing exhaust, modified intake, and increased boost levels, the engine makes more than 300 horsepower.

The most striking thing about Adrenaline is its looks. It has a wider, lower stance, accentuated by new front and rear treatments, a wrap-around rear spoiler, and new fenders and doors. Inside, it has laser-etched bucket seats front and rear, and a leather-wrapped instrument panel.
