Lamborghini has announced plans to build 250 special edition Gallardos this year in six new colors complementing a black engine bay cover and featuring a two-tone, full-leather interior. The list of appearance changes is rounded out by beautiful "Callisto" rims and front and rear spoilers.
What really makes this Gallardo special, however, is the altered gearbox packing five shortened gear ratios and a lengthened sixth gear for a 0.2 second improvement in 0-to-60-mph performance, as this car zips the needle up to sixty in an even four seconds. The top speed has also benefited from the modifications--196 mph is always just a few gearchanges away.
