At last! A wacky Japanese concept with a name that evokes self-stimulation. The Toyota i-unit is a one-person vehicle that has a prone high-speed mode and an upright low-speed setting. Essentially, this is a mobility tool for the city of the future, allowing you to travel from home to office with other i-units that run in file formation and communicate with the road ahead on one of those utopian intelligent highways. There is no weather protection, seemingly no safety equipment, and no competition from other road users. High concept indeed.
