Nissan's open-air sportster concept is supposed to evoke the fun of motorcycle riding while at the same time catering to its young male target audience's need to constantly be playing video games. In addition to a removable canvas top, the car features open sections in the doors, a see-through hood, and separate fender elements. The door cut-outs have glass which retracts up into the upper door panel. The blue-tinted windshield glass continues onto the hood, exposing the engine. The two front seats, which have mesh inserts, are supplemented by a central rear jump seat, bringing passenger capacity to three. With a target weight of 2400 pounds, the compact roadster (which is more than a foot shorter than a Nissan 350Z) is supposed to be a sporting drive, but when all that outdoor excitement proves too much for pasty-faced, Echo Boomer couch potatoes, they can stop and put the Urge into "gaming mode." The flat-bottomed steering wheel and pedals switch from controlling the car to controlling an integrated Xbox 360 gaming system, which plays through a video screen that flips down from the rear-view mirror. No word on what engine powers this pie-in-the-sky concept, but we do know the pre-loaded video game is Project Gotham Racing 3.
