Spyker Cars of the Netherlands makes its domestic debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show with two if its six models, the Spyker C8 Spyder and its Spyker C8 Double 12S Coupe (the street version of its 2003 LeMans race car, which finished in 10th in class and 30th overall). Powered by an all-aluminum Audi 4.2-liter/392-hp V-8 engine, the Spyker C8 Spyder is a micro-manufactured supercar that weighs just 2750 pounds and boasts top speeds of up to 190 mph and 0-62 mph times of 4.5 seconds. Hand-built from aluminum, the two-seat race cars feature twin F1 safety fuel tanks, fully adjustable front and rear suspension, and massive 14-inch anti-lock disc brakes with six-pot calipers.
