The Citroen is the first of the four large (for European standards) MPVs jointly developed by Citroen, Fiat, Lancia, and Peugeot. Each of the four has a distinct personality to go along with a variety of powertrains shared by all four versions. In the case of the C8, the emphasis is on aesthetics and amenities with an optional factory-installed Microsoft Xbox as part of the rear-seat entertainment system. This game console choice is not surprising, as Citroen was also an early backer of the Clarion AutoPC platform powered by a version of Microsoft Windows CE operating system. Like its stablemates, the C8 offers two four-cylinder gasoline engines, two turbodiesels, and a 3.0-liter V-6.
