After 7 comes 9. After a decade of living with the 1975 Jaguar-based DB7, Aston's replacement got full funding from parent company Ford, and engineering took a modern leap. Still nearly two tons, this front-engine, rear-drive GT coupe relies on a 444-horsepower V12 to maintain the image promised by its elegant styling and $155,000 price tag. Convertibles are called Volante.
