Capitalizing on the very expensive and possibly mistaken Oprah publicity stunt while they still can, Pontiac showed off both the coupe (summer 2005) and convertible (early 2006) versions of the new mainstream G6 sedan. The important news is the impending release of the GXP trim line, which throws in an all new, DOHC 3.6-liter V6, a 6-speed manual, lower suspension with Bilstein shocks, and 18-inch wheels. That should silence all doubters of the G6's sports sedan credentials.
