Based on the Saturn Ion, the Cobalt replaces the long-running Cavalier. Power comes from a 2.2-liter Ecotec engine that's been around for a few years. The Cobalt is a bit bigger and roomier than the Cavalier. Unlike the Ion, traditional gauges decorate the more livable interior. A Cobalt SS features the Saturn Ion Redline's supercharged 205-horsepower engine.
