2006 Ford Escape Front

The Escape suddenly became the world's most economical SUV. Using Toyota-like hybrid technology, the Escape Hybrid has all the same tricks, including the ability to run on electricity alone at low speeds while the gas engine sleeps. Ford claims its battery pack will last "seven to nine years." Normal Escapes carry on with Mazda's 2.3-liter 4 or Ford's 3.0 V6.
