2006 Honda Ridgeline Front

Stretching the very definition of "truck," the Ridgeline utilizes Honda's usual approach of showing up with the most carlike model, the smallest engine, and the most innovations (like the in-bed trunk). Built on the Odyssey's unibody frame and using an all-independent suspension, all-wheel-drive, and a 3.5-liter V6, the Ridgeline is quite a departure among mid-size pickups. It offers the plus of the most road-friendly demeanor, the minus of relatively low off-road and towing ability. In other words, you could say it's the worst at being a truck but the best at how people actually use them. Two more things stand out: a super-comfortable back seat and a steep price tag.
