2006 Audi A8 L front

Though introduced with only one model, the big Audi now offers both a normal-wheelbase model and a W12 engine, bringing the model count three: A8, A8 L, and A8 L W12, with L standing for the original long-wheelbase model. The V8 and W12 engines are shared with Volkswagen's Phaeton, as is the basic design, but the all-aluminum A8 weighs much less.
