2006 Hyundai Sonata Rear

The first of Hyundai's three-pronged 2006 assault, the Sonata showed up last spring with Accord-knockoff styling, 4-cylinder and V6 engines, and the most cavernous interior in its crowded class. Power is way up over last year for both engines, while price is only up by a little. The Sonata launched at the same time as Hyundai's brand new plant in Alabama, where all Sonatas are now built. Time will tell how this affects the previous Sonata's record-setting track record for reliability.
