2005 Honda Odyssey interior

Already regarded by many as the minivan leader, it just wouldn't be like Honda to go more than six years without a redesign, so here we are with a new, 8-passenger Odyssey. Power and size were already on par, so they grew only incrementally. Fuel economy got a boost with Variable Cylinder Management (only on EX-L and Touring models) to shut off three cylinders in low-demand, straight-line cruising. This was the first minivan to feature a disappearing third seat, yet the new Odyssey lacks the disappearing second row now found on Chrysler and Nissan's vans. Breaking with Honda tradition is a new Touring model atop the EX.
