2006 Lotus Exige front

Yet another foreigner floats ashore to show us just how fat we really are. Having less than 2,000 pounds to pull around (that's less than a Kia Rio) allows each of the Exige's 190 horses to run wild. Acceleration has it blowing right past the Nissan 350Z, Pontiac GTO, and every Mustang GT in history, biting at the Corvette's heels. The difference in agility between the Exige and any of those is so vast that it's better left unsaid. This hardtop, track-ready counterpart to last year's Lotus Elise hits showrooms later this month (January 2006).
