2005 Ford Freestyle interior.jpg
It's not quite the return of the Ford Country Squire, but it's close. Ford hasn't had a wagon this big since 1991, and the one at the time is one best forgotten. Fast forward to today and notice this thoroughly modern, upscale "crossover" that's missing only one piece: a strong engine. That aside, the chassis, optional AWD system, and CVT transmission are all shared with the Volvo-based Five Hundred, though the Freestyle doesn't offer the choice of a traditional automatic. The most comparable vehicle would be the Chrysler Pacifica.
