2005 Ford Mustang engine.jpg

Any intention to show a classic Mustang in all its nostalgic glory usually happens with a display of a convertible example. No surprise, then, that mere months after the completely reborn Mustang's release, Ford has chopped the top. The same V6 and V8 engines carry over, but instead of starting at the 20 and 25 grand price points, Ford chose 25 and 30. That might seem steep, but this Mustang's body was designed to convertible standards from the start, which would explain the claim of double the torsional stiffness of the last Mustang. Shaking, quivering, and wind buffeting were the declared enemies of the engineering team.
