2006 Lexus IS 350 Interior

Lexus takes its second sports sedan stab with the new IS. A 204-horsepower IS250 with or without all-wheel-drive starts the line, and a 306-horsepower IS350 sets new standards in acceleration, zooming to 60 MPH in 5.1 seconds by one magazine's count. 6-speed transmissions and electric steering now drive all models. If the styling is less daring than before, the interior is at least much more luxurious. Interesting features on the new roster include SmartAccess key, DVD navigation, backup camera, Bluetooth, power rear sunshade, HID lights, adaptive front lighting, and a significantly uprated stereo with 13 standard speakers (14 with optional Mark Levinson), XM or Sirius radio, and an auxiliary port in the center console for iPods and other devices.
