2006 Audi A6 4.2 Front

The big chrome schnoz that adorns the A6 has literally become Audi's new face to the world. The A6 brought other good news with it, one being a 255-horsepower direct-injection 3.1-liter V6, which for 2006 also comes in a new front-wheel-drive CVT model. The other engine is Audi's 335-horsepower V8, which mates only to Quattro all-wheel-drive. New for 2006 is the A6 Avant wagon, taking the place of the Allroad that served Audi's SUV aspirations up until this point.
