2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS 500 Interior
The world's first "4-door coupe" (what about the Mazda RX-8?) is actually an E-class in disguise. The differences come down to less rear-seat headroom and the CLS only using the top two engines: the 5.0-liter V8 (in the CLS500) and 5.4-liter supercharged V8 (in the CLS55). Also, instead of going for 59 and 84 thousand, the two CLSs start at 67 and 89. Both come as rear-drive only, with the CLS500 getting Mercedes' 7-speed automatic and Airmatic semi-active air suspension.
