2006 Mitsubishi Raider rear
The "Raider" name has been bouncing between the Dodge and Mitsubishi brands over time. Last time Dodge used it to rebadge the Montero; now Mitsubishi's using it to rebadge the Dakota. Mitsubishi calls Club Cab "extended cab" and Quad Cab "Double Cab." Extended Cabs get 2WD or 4WD; Double Cabs add the additional option of full-time 4WD. Dodge's 210-horsepower V6 and 235-horsepower V8 are the engine choices, and without so much as Mitsubishi's turn signal stalk, it certainly feels like a Chrysler on the inside. Since the Dakota's the biggest of the mid-size trucks, the roominess of the Raider Double Cab is no surprise. One thing to consider: Mitsubishi's warranty beats Dodge's by a long shot.
