2006 Nissan Pathfinder front
Nissan's original SUV lived to see its third lifetime despite the like-sized Murano being a hit. It rides on a shrunken version of the Titan/Armada platform, which it also shares with the smaller Frontier and XTerra. It traded its live axle suspension for an independent arrangement, traded its unibody design for a full frame, and offers full-time 4-wheel-drive on the side. Nissan couldn't help increasing power yet again, so that number now reads 270 thanks to an engine inflated to 4 liters, giving it the strongest V6 in the field. Seating capacity stands at seven thanks to the small third row.
