2006 BMW 6-series M6 front

BMW's coupe and convertible arrived in 2004 alongside their 5-series sedan counterpart, getting their own names, sleeker sheetmetal, and $20,000-$30,000 higher price tags. For 2006 they enjoy the 4.8-liter V8 shared by the 5 and 7-series, and consequently the name changes to 650Ci. With the introduction of the M6, the 6-series now has the 5-series line matched model for model.
