2006 Subaru Forester rear

Subaru continues to provide a boxy, low-slung alternative to all the mini SUVs out there. Using two of the same engines as the Impreza (on which the Forester is based), the Forester's performance maxes out the field with 173 or 230 horsepower. Of course AWD is standard, just like on every Subaru of the past nine years.
