2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca Rear
If you can get past its looks, you should find another capable crossover SUV in the B9 Tribeca. Like the Highlander, Pilot, Murano, and Endeavor, the Tribeca's roots belong to its parent company's family sedan, the Legacy. That car has donated its platform and 250-horsepower horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine (H6) for the Tribeca, which, like the Highlander and Pilot, adds an optional third row for seven seats. The main differences over its rivals are that the Tribeca has all-wheel-drive standard (like all Subarus), its engine is 3.0 liters large instead of 3.5 or more, and it starts above $31K instead of the high 20s.
